Mice populations increase due to climate change

It seems that across the globe the mouse population is growing. The cause - probably climate change. The winters are becoming less harsh and so the numbers of mice surviving the winter are increasing , giving rise to increasing populations throughout the year. It is happening in the UK, its happening across Europe and the United States. This is meaning more work for pest control agencies. The mice can cause diseases in the human population but in the UK this is reasonably rare. More research is needed in this area so perhaps this population growth can be more controlled.
