Should we be covering all the supermarket carparks with solar panels to make electricity?

One significant way of increasing the solar farms in this country (UK) would be to cover all the supermarket car parks with roofs that are solar panels. This space is essentially wasted space and could be turned into the productive use of making electricity. The supermarkets have a large amount of real estate that could be used as a solar farm bringing these companies in more money without using valuable agricultural land. And why stop there? Super markets are often warehouse type buildings so the roofs can also be used. It is a win win solution that just requires the big supermarket chains to plough in some profits to make even more money.
